After my daughter and I went to NYC and paid $25 for a fancy milkshake (no, I’m not exaggerating), we came home determined to create a delicious homemade chocolate milkshake recipe for a fraction of the price.

This chocolate milkshake is the most delicious shake we’ve ever had. It has a rich chocolate flavor (from both chocolate ice cream & chocolate syrup), is thick and creamy.

Plus, this recipe is so easy to make in 5 minutes! I love that I get to make it with organic ingredients and skip any artificial flavors, preservatives, etc. Top it with some homemade whipped cream and chocolate sauce for a fun and delicious dessert!

How to Make a Chocolate Milkshake

This recipe is very easy to make – as always we’ll walk through the steps together, and don’t forget to watch the video.

Begin my removing the chocolate ice cream from the freezer about 5 minutes before making this recipe for it to soften slightly.

I suggest using a high-powered blender (Vitamix) to make this chocolate milkshake.
